Then we take measurements to create a layout ensuring the pieces you love will properly fit the scale of the space. Whether we're sourcing from our curated list of furniture and lighting vendors, or working together to create the perfect custom piece, your space will feel both luxurious and livable.

Design Consultation
Our initial consultation establishes the foundation for your project. Our lead designer(s) will meet you on-site to assess the current space, identify what works, and address any issues. We’ll take detailed measurements and document the area with before photos. This visit allows us to discuss the project scope while gathering your anticipated budget and timeline, helping us connect with your family’s preferences for how the space should feel and function.

Design Proposal
Using insights from our consultation, we’ll present layout scenarios, a mood board for the desired aesthetic, and touch and feel material options. Your feedback during this meeting is essential for refining the vision for your personalized space. This collaborative effort ensures your style and needs are central to the design, allowing us to create a unique solution for your home.

Design Development, Details & Documentation
In this phase, we focus on the specifics of your project. We’ll finalize suggestions for materials and fixtures, integrate personalized elements, and complete the necessary construction documentation. Communication with the Build Director begins to ensure all designed elements are engineered for a seamless build, maintaining a smooth workflow throughout the project.

Project Contract and Ordering
As our Design and Build teams collaborate, we’ll present a detailed project scope, including a list of materials and labor, to establish the final budget. Once we reach an agreement, all products are ordered, and the project timeline is set. This organized approach streamlines the renovation process and provides clarity as we move forward.

Build Phase
Hive’s in-house craftsmen work diligently to demolish, prep, install, and polish your space within a tight timeline. We collaborate with trusted subcontractors to achieve exceptional results. Throughout the build phase, our Lead Craftsmen keep you informed about upcoming work, address any potential issues, and ensure your project stays on track, allowing for a smooth and engaging experience.

Celebrate!
Once all products are installed and any punch list items are addressed, we’ll schedule a final walkthrough to celebrate your stunning new space. Often, we’ll combine this with a glamorous photo shoot to document your AH-MAZING transformation! This is a moment for you to enjoy your beautifully redesigned home and reflect on the journey we’ve shared to bring your vision to life.
