Meet Manda
Owner, Principle Designer, Creative Director
With nearly 20 of experience in the design-build industry, I collaborate with clients and our team to create beautiful, practical homes that often bring happy tears. Since founding Hive in 2019, I've had the pleasure of mentoring SFCC interior design students and continue to evaluate student competitions. My ninja skill is solving the design dilemma through efficient space planning creating an effortless, functional layout.
In my free time, I love getting out in nature; hiking, mountain biking and camping with our 2 school-age children, and exploring our local food scene with Jeff. I hold a BA in Interior Design from Washington State University, along with NKBA certification.
Meet Jeff
Owner, CFO, Build Director
With 30 years of hands-on remodeling and real estate investing experience, it is my job to ensure every client’s vision is expertly executed. My background in the restaurant industry, where I managed and owned multiple establishments, has given me a unique perspective on hospitality and service. I also shared my passion for culinary arts and business as a professor at North Idaho College.
In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, biking, camping, and boating. I love exploring new cuisines and traveling with my family. I hold a BA in Education from the University of Idaho, along with extensive coursework in business administration from Eastern Washington University.

Kristin Bennett
Senior Interior Designer / Project Coordinator
After a career as a dental hygienist, Kristin shifted gears and pursued a long held passion—interior design. Graduating from design school, she’s discovered that creating beautiful spaces is even more satisfying than perfecting smiles. As a serial remodeler alongside her husband, she has transformed numerous homes and manages several rental properties with an eye for both style and functionality. When she’s not designing or remodeling, Kristin enjoys taking her dog for walks, traveling, and roller skating. As an almost empty-nester, she’s savoring this exciting new chapter of creativity and adventure.
Terence Fabien

After a decade as a mechanic and a variety of other gigs—from working at a movie theater to moonlighting as a wedding photographer—I found my true calling in cabinet installation. I love bringing a detail-focused, perfectionist touch to every project, always with a smile. A Spokane native, I enjoy cycling through my hometown, tinkering with cars and bikes, and am a huge fan of live music. When I’m not working on homes, I’m probably adding to my ever-growing vinyl collection. I honed my skills at New Tech Skill Center, where I studied construction and automotive technology from 2013 to 2016.
Dennis O’Hair
Craftsman
As a Spokane native with a strong passion for carpentry and finish work, I enjoy using my attention to detail to create beautiful, high-quality spaces. While my roots are in carpentry, my career path took a detour in 2003 when I spent 18 years in the Health and Fitness industry as a personal trainer, nutrition specialist, and gym owner. I hold a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology from WSU, but the hands-on nature of carpentry has always been close to my heart. Outside of work, I love spending time with my high school sweetheart, our two daughters, and three amazing grandchildren. You’ll often find me enjoying date nights, road trips, BMX and mountain biking, CrossFit, and the great outdoors.
Patty Jenkins
Accountant
I’m an EA licensed to practice before the IRS, specializing in QuickBooks for record entry and reconciliation. At Hive, I prepare sales tax reports, quarterly payroll reports, end-of-year reports, and corporate tax returns. I also manage accounts receivable and client invoicing, so you might see my name in your inbox! My career began in the savings and loan industry, where I rose to head the accounting department. I've also worked as a manager and accountant for a landscaping firm, at a local CPA firm, and have run my own accounting and tax business. In my spare time, I enjoy sewing and machine embroidery. I have attended college in California as well as Eastern Washington University with lots of education provided by my employment.
